General Requirements for Rental
Credit Cards:
We require a major credit card with available credit to cover the cost of the rental period, including refueling and options (if purchased). The minimum deposit on a credit card is $350.
Accepted credit cards include American Express, Visa, MasterCard, Diners & Discover. Debit cards are not accepted as a deposit for rental but may be used as a form of payment on the return of the rental.
Driver’s License:
Renters and additional drivers are required to possess at the time of rental a current U.S. driver’s license. A foreign driver’s license may be accepted provided that the renter also has an international license and passport; all documents must be current, original and matching in name. In both cases, the credit card and license must be from the same person.
Minimum Age Requirement:
21 years old for most vehicles. All 4-wheel drive vehicles, 15-pass vans, shuttle buses require the driver to be at least 25 years old.
Corporate & Studio Accounts:
Net 30 and credit card accounts are available for companies that meet certain financial and insurance requirements. Please review our Credit Application page to determine your eligibility.
Authorization to Travel:
Travel outside of California is prohibited unless prior written authorization is given.
Return of Rental:
The return of the rental must be during our normal business hours only. All rentals must be returned prior to close of business or will result an additional charges and late fees. All vehicles must come back with the same amount of fuel they were checked out with, otherwise a $12 per Gallon charge will be assessed.
- Rental Period:
- Trucks: 1 day = 24hr cycle (as long as you return the truck within 24hrs of pickup, you will be billed for 1 day. Additional hours are $34/hr up to 1 additional rental day)
- Vans: 1 day = 1 calendar day (billed by the calendar days rented)
- Re-Fueling: vehicles come fully (or close to) fueled and should be returned at the same fuel level (re-fueling is billed at $10/gallon).
- Mileage: vehicles include 100/miles per rental day/cycle or 500/miles per week (additional mileage is billed at $0.50/per mile).
- If you’re taking the vehicle out of the county, let us know ahead of time so we can properly prep the vehicle for a long trip.
- LCDW: our optional limited damage policy is $24/day and covers the first $1,000 of damage to your vehicle (coverage details in our rental agreement).
- Cancellation: once the rental is confirmed, if canceled within 24hrs of the pickup date, you will be responsible for the daily rate of the rental.
